Axial Flow fans meet the requirements of General ventilation
and air conditioning field. In the Tea Industry 'AARKAY' AXIAL
FLOW FANS are used in withering troughs for exhaust and in
miracle mills.
Aarkay
Axial Flow fans are designed and constructed to give efficient
trouble free service and both initial and operating cost are
reduced to minimum. Cast aluminium alloy 6 bladed impeller
directly mounted on Motor Shaft and aerodynamically designed
wide blades ensures smooth and streamlined airflow with
minimum turbulence for withering tea leaves so that they roll
well and take on twist. Rotors are dynamically balanced and
run within permissible noise and vibration levels. Casings are
made of heavy gauge drums with drilled flange at both ends and
complete with legs for horizontal, ceiling or floor mounting.
A Fan Guard for safety and Inlet flaring for minimizing eddy
losses are regular features of two design.
Dampers,
Transition pieces, Hot Air risers, D.O.L. or Star-Delta
Starters and Reversible Switches are quoted as optional
extras.

to suit different leaf bed areas of troughs withering but
special size Fans to suit Various Capacities of troughs can be

AIR, INDUCED DRAFT AND FERMENTING FANS
Aarkay
Centrifugal Fans are most suitable for Ventilation, Fume,
Exhaust, Forced Draft, Induced Draft Hot Air Circulation,
Cement Kiln Exhaust, Combustion Air, and Pneumatic Conveying.
In the Tea Industry, Aarkay Centrifugal Fans are best suitable
for discharging hot air produced by oil heaters and coal fired
stoves into Tea drying chambers and withering troughs, for
providing cold air to trough fermentations and as I.D. Fans.
Impellers
are made of High Strength die-pressed steel blades. The
complete impeller assembly is mounted on two heavy duty
bearings and housed in a mild steel casing. Aarkay Centrifugal
Fan are designed to ensure maximum air delivery at required
pressure and minimum power requirement .
The
Fans may be arranged for V-drive or directly mounted on Motor
Shaft Speed is adjustable by changing the Motors and / or
pulleys. Complete Electrical drive systems are supplied with
Fans, if required.
